Chlamydia – spreading around…

Gavin LeSueur - February 25, 2010

Chlamydia is a very successful sexually transmitted infection. It does not always cause any symptoms but can lead to fertility problems. You can have it for many years and not know about it. The test is a simple urine test and the treatment a short course of antibiotics. If you have ever had unprotected sex then a chlamydia screen is worth enquiring about. We ask if you are sexually active in the ‘lifestyle’ questions. The recommendations lead to a site that details what you should do if you have concerns. Ignorance is not bliss in this case…

Feeding back the feedback

Gavin LeSueur - February 16, 2010

A special thanks to those that have contacted eDoc.net over the past two months with suggestions and feedback. We have listened to your ideas and incorporated some to make the site flow easier and make the recommendations as understandable as possible. One of the suggestions that has come through five times was to extend the time for subscribers. This came about as the site was promoted through facebook on people’s birthdays and a number of subscriptions were given as gifts. To enable the site to be accessed seven days was a bit short. We read the suggestion, discussed the options and have decided to extend access to subscribers to 30 days. You will notice the change effective today.
So… keep the feedback coming. We appreciate it, will listen and act appropriately to ensure our advice is scientifically based, Doctor reviewed and not a product placement promotion!
